TheHDRoom has the potential TRON Blu-Ray cover, and I've gotta say it is SERIOUSLY underwhelming. Disney already did TRON fans wrong by pulling the DVD off shelves and taking it out of print, if just for this Blu-Ray release. Seriously, I couldn't even Netflix the stupid thing to watch the night before TRON: Legacy released and had to instead find a copy from a friend and watch that. Here's the proposed cover: Well that just looks swell, doesn't it? The "Special Edition" better actually have a lot of cool features. If not, I can't see any forgiveness for this mediocre and bland cover. Disney doesn't want the movie to seem dated? Then don't use a cover that makes it look like a Master System video game! Seriously, the original poster makes a MUCH better cover than this! Original Article: www.thehdroom.com/news/First-Look-Original-Tron-Blu-ray-Cover-Art/8178

But the first two are at home and my laptop has decided it doesn't want to work with Blu-Rays anymore. And I REALLY want to watch Fight Club As for this, I'll probably buy it regardless of the cover, but I expected some effort. Just shows to go you how backwards Disney can be.

Disney have always been backwards though! lol Unfortunately we're stuck with them though seeing as they own Marvel and Touchstone... Anyway, that cover better be shiny or something else cool with it, because that by itself just doesn't scream out to me "buy me". Mid blue on black background and black ground? I can hardly see a thing. Plus I really think that because they've just released the new movie in theatres, they could have done something special with the front cover graphics for this, but the figure in the foreground still looks very 80s. Maybe not a bad thing, but probably not a good thing either. Finally, calling your own movie "The Original Classic" on the front is never a good idea!

First, Classic? don't get me wrong i like tron, but i never saw it as a classic really.
Second? who is this trying to market to? I mean placing Disney prominently on the cover screams kids movie, but how are kids really supposed to perceive what this movie is about. "Yay for 8-bit frisbee" ?
Third yea this cover is so boring and lame that its actually putting me to sleep so goodnight folks.
